Mary has established herself as one of the premier and most consistent performers in the Midwest Conference and in Lake Forest volleyball history...enters the '99 season third on the school's s career kills (610) list, third in total blocks (172), second in solo blocks (70), first in hitting percentage (.288), 12th in digs (408) and fourth in games played (253)...has a legitimate chance to become the school's all-time career leader for total blocks (needs 11), solo blocks (needs 17), games played (needs 75) and hitting percentage (current leader)...anchors a strong defensive team...plays with tremendous effort and will make blocks that others give up on...has already earned nine varsity letters while also competing for the Lake Forest handball and softball teams...JUNIOR: Named First-team All-Midwest Conference for the second consecutive season...team co-captain...notched 206 kills (third on the team and the 15th highest total in school history) and 66 blocks (second on the team), including 25 solo blocks...third on the team with a .234 kills percentage...named MWC South Division Player of the Week for October 19-25... SOPHOMORE: First team All-MWC...led the team in blocks (54) and kill percentage (.367)...broke the school record for season hitting percentage...second on the team with 193 kills...had 19 kills vs. Illinois College...selected MWC South Division Player of the Week for August 31-September 6...FRESHMAN: Had an outstanding rookie season for the Foresters...notched 211 kills, the 14th highest season total in school history...tied the school record for most total blocks in a three-game match with 6 versus Illinois College...re-established the school record for hitting percentage (.800) with 8 kills and no errors in 10 attempts against Judson...HIGH SCHOOL: Team finished second in the Inter-Mountain Conference and fifth at state her senior season...her junior year, MVHS won the conference championship and took eighth place at state...named team's Most Inspirational both her junior and senior seasons...coached by Jim Peters...three sport (volleyball, softball and basketball) her senior year...also a two-time team Most Valuable Player in softball
