Junior outside hitter Jenny Anderson (Sebastopol, CA/El Molino) finished the season with a team-high 383 kills, while racking up 337 digs, 48 aces, and 28 blocks. The first team selection ranked sixth in the conference with 3.51 kills per game, and she is currently third in school history with 1,030 career kills. Anderson is also third in school history with 148 career aces and is 155 digs shy of becoming the program's all-time leader in that category. Also selected to the first team was junior Stephanie Metzger (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech). In 109 games played, Metzger accumulated a team-high 395 digs, good for the seventh-highest total in the league. She also tied for the team-lead in aces with 52, which also ranked her among the top ten in the conference. The outside hitter recorded 300 kills and 40 blocks during the season, and was named Conference South Division Player of the Week on October 29. Selected to the second team was junior middle blocker Jenna Harper (St. Louis, MO/Clayton). Finishing with 113 blocks, Harper became only the fourth Forester to accumulate 100 or more blocks in a single season, falling just 10 short of the school record. Harper's 320 kills were the second-highest total on the squad. She also recorded 48 digs and 35 aces. Lake Forest finished with an overall record of 18-15 and posted a 5-4 league mark. The Foresters also finished the season with a 9-1 record in the Sports Center, with their only home defeat coming in their last regular season match against Grinnell College. By Franklyn Beckford
