Stephanie Metzger put her name in the Forester record books twice on Tuesday.
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Forester volleyball team hosted and defeated Wheaton College Tuesday (October 28) in four games (31-29, 30-24, 27-30, 30-18). The triumph raised Lake Forest's overall record on the year to 18-9 while Wheaton fell to 17-14.

Senior Stephanie Metzger (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) set a pair of school records on the evening. Metzger also has 425 digs on the year, breaking Anderson's 2001 single-season school record of 405.

Freshman Janelle Balcerzak (Milwaukee, WI/Pius XI) led the team with 16 kills against Wheaton. Junior Amy Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) joined Metzger with 13 kills and added five aces. Senior Jenna Harper (St. Louis, MO/Clayton) and Anderson added 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Anderson and sophomore Meghan Miller (Williams Bay, WI/Williams Bay) each recorded 21 digs and Krueger had 19.

Setters Andrea Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew), a junior, and Kendra Casey (Wauwatosa, WI/Wauwatosa West), a freshman, combined for 58 assists and ten digs.
