Andrea Krueger Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Senior could break school record for assists in a season

Krueger is chasing the team's single-season assists record.
LAKE FOREST , IL - Lake Forest College volleyball player Andrea Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (October 28) for helping lead the team to a pair of victories in the last seven days.

Lake Forest completed the Midwest Conference portion of its schedule last Saturday (October 23) with a three-game triumph at home over Grinnell College and Krueger recorded 41 assists in the match. She also added three aces.

The senior tallied 46 assists on Tuesday (October 26) in a four-game win at Wheaton College. She also recorded four kills, a dozen digs, and an ace.

Krueger has 1,104 assists this year and is on pace to challenge the single-season school record of 1,294. She recorded 1,285 in 2003 and comfortable ranks second in team history with 3,149 in her career. She also ranks third with 191 aces in her four years.

Forester Athletes of the Week are chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
