Jenny Anderson's name is mentioned throughout the Forester record books.
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Forester volleyball team knocked off Elmhurst College Tuesday (October 8) night in five close games (26-30, 31-29, 28-30, 33-31, 15-12). Elmhurst was ranked 11th in the nation in the latest Division III coaches poll and was listed as high as #2 earlier in the year. Lake Forest has an overall record of 13-7 this season and a perfect 7-0 mark at home.

For the 15th time in 20 matches this season, Jenny Anderson (Sebastopol, CA/El Molino) led the Foresters in kills. The junior captain tallied 16 on Tuesday and added 15 digs and a team-high 5 aces. Anderson leads the 2002 squad in kills, aces and digs, and has placed herself among the school's career leaders in all three categories. Her 924 kills in just over two-and-a-half seasons place her third in the program's history, as do her 144 service aces. With 817 digs, she ranks fifth but needs just 20 more to move into third.

Junior Jenna Harper (St. Louis, MO/Clayton) was second on the team with 13 kills and added six blocks. She connected for a .333 hitting percentage in 33 attempts. Fellow junior Stephanie Metzger (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) recorded 10 kills, three aces and 20 digs.

The Krueger twins, sophomores Amy and Andrea (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew), also played important roles in the upset. Amy led the Foresters with 22 digs while Andrea tallied a team-high 31 assists and added a pair of aces.

Lake Forest will take its 4-1 Midwest Conference record on the road this weekend (October 11-12th). On Friday, the team will play at Monmouth College at 7:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon's match will be at Illinois College and will begin at 1:00.
