Jenna Harper Named MWC South Division Player of the Week 
Junior named to Forester Invitational All-Tournament Team
  

Jenna Harper tallied 28 kills, five aces, and eight blocks in the Forester Invitational.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College volleyball player Jenna Harper (St. Louis, MO/Clayton) was named Midwest Conference South Division Player of the Week Tuesday (October 8) for her contributions to the team's Forester Invitational Championship on Saturday (October 5). Lake Forest defeated Dominican University (30-22, 30-17, 30-23) and North Park University (30-28, 36-34, 24-30, 30-22) in pool play before knocking off Coe College (30-20, 29-31, 30-23, 30-22) in the title match.

Harper led the team with eight blocks on the day and was second on the squad with 28 kills. She committed just seven attack errors on the day in 65 attempts for a .323 hitting percentage. The junior middle blocker also added five aces.

This season Harper ranks second on the team with 185 kills and fourth with 18 aces. Her team-leading 69 blocks put her on-pace to challenge the school record of 123. She also leads the squad with a .326 hitting percentage.

She is the second Forester to earn conference player of the week honors in this season's five weeks. The Midwest Conference Players of the Week are chosen by the league's sports information directors.
