All-Tourney Team
Junior co-captain Jenny Anderson (Sebastopol, CA/El Molino) led the team with 52 kills on the weekend. She also added four aces, which tied her for second on the squad, and 25 digs, which ranked third for Lake Forest. Anderson was selected to the All-Tournament Team by the participating teams' coaches. Fellow junior Jenna Harper (St. Louis, MO/Clayton) posted a respectable hitting percentage of .272 for the tournament, recording 35 kills against just 13 errors in 81 attempts. Harper tallied 15 blocks on the weekend as well, and is on pace to challenge the school's single-season record in that category, which currently stands at 125. Head Coach Beth Pier used a number of different lineups, including three setters. Sophomore Andrea Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) led the team with 66 assists and added a team-high six aces. The Foresters' leader in digs was freshman Meghan Miller (Williams Bay, WI/Williams Bay) with 39. Lake Forest's next match will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday (September 17) night when the Foresters host the University of Chicago. Next Friday (September 20), they will travel to Benedictine University to take on North Central College (6:00 p.m.) and look for revenge against Benedictine (8:00 p.m.). Lake
