Anderson Named MWC South Division Player of the Week
Junior tallies 89 kills and 52 digs in six matches
  

Anderson was the MWC South Division's top player last week.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College junior volleyball player Jenny Anderson (Sebastopol, CA/El Molino) was named Midwest Conference South Division Player of the Week Tuesday (September 17) for her individual accomplishments during the Foresters' six matches last week.

On Tuesday (September 10), the Foresters defeated Wheaton College and lost to Carroll College. Anderson recorded a career-high 25 kills in the five-game win over Wheaton and a team-high 12 against Carroll. She also added 27 digs and four aces in the two matches combined.

Lake Forest competed in the Illinois Wesleyan Classic on Friday and Saturday (September 13-14). In four matches on the weekend, the Foresters' co-captain tallied 52 kills, 25 digs, and four aces. The five head coaches at the Classic selected her to the six-member All-Tournament Team.

Midwest Conference Players of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors.
