Foresters Fall at Nation’s Eighth-Ranked Team
Whitewater wins in three games

WHITEWATER, WI - The Lake Forest College volleyball team fell to 6-6 on the season with a 30-16, 30-20, 30-12 loss at UW-Whitewater. The Warhawks entered the match ranked #8 in the nation by the American Volleyball Coaches Association and raised their record on the year to 13-2.

Senior DeAnna Bauer (Naperville, IL/Naperville North) led the Foresters with eight kills. Junior Meghan Miller (Williams Bay, WI/Williams Bay) paced the squad with 17 digs and seniors Amy and Andrea Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) had 16 and 11, respectively. Andrea also had 19 assists and a pair of aces.

Lake Forest will be at home on Thursday (September 23) against the University of Dubuque. The Foresters will then travel to Beloit College this weekend (September 25-26) for the annual Midwest Conference Crossover. The team will take on Ripon College, St. Norbert College, and Beloit College on Saturday and will face Lawrence University and Carroll College on Sunday.
