LAKE FOREST, IL - The Forester volleyball team played for the first time in ten days Friday (September 26) but were unable to prevent a three-game loss (30-27, 30-25, 30-17) at home to Illinois Wesleyan University. Illinois Wesleyan (12-6) is currently listed among the top 30 teams in the country. Lake Forest's record on the year fell to 3-6. The team has yet to play a Midwest Conference match.

Fellow senior captain Jenny Anderson (Sebastopol, CA/El Molino) led the team with a dozen digs against the Titans and sophomore libero Meghan Miller (Williams Bay, WI/Williams Bay) added 11. Junior setter Andrea Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) tallied 33 assists.

Lake Forest will play five more matches this weekend (September 27-28) at the MWC Crossover Tournament, hosted by Beloit College. The Foresters will take on Ripon College and St. Norbert College on Saturday and Lawrence University, Carroll College, and Beloit College on Sunday.
