FRANTZ NAMED MWC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lake Forest's Sarah Frantz, a 5-6 junior setter
from Lake Geneva, WI (Badger High School), has been named the Midwest
Conference South Division Player of the Week. Frantz had a remarkable
pair of matches last week during Forester wins over Judson (3-0) and Grinnell
(3-1). Frantz had 111 assists in seven games, an average of 15.9 assists
per game. She broke the Lake Forest record for assists in a four-game match
with 65 assists against Grinnell.
A Lake Forest volleyball player has now been
the league's player of the week twice this season. Stephanie
Reinboldt (McHenry, IL/Marian Central Catholic H.S.) was the league's
first player of the week two weeks ago.
