SENIOR:
Selected
as a co-captain for the 1999-2000 season.selected to 10-player First Team
All-Midwest Conference unit for the second straight year...started each
of the team's 24 games...led the team in rebounds and was third in scoring
for the second year in a row...reached double figures in scoring 10 times
and rebounds three times...recorded a pair of double-doubles...scored 17
points and pulled down 12 rebounds in a 78-62 victory at Illinois College
on January 8th...recorded second double-double of the season with 15 points
and 13 boards in a 75-58 victory over Carroll College on January 28th...held
to less than four rebounds just once during the year.JUNIOR: Named
to the 10-person First Team All-Midwest Conference unit...led the team
in rebounding with 8.2 per game and was fifth in the conference with 8.1
per conference game...added nearly 10 points per game (third on the team)...led
the team with 6 blocks...fourth on the squad in steals (24), fifth in assists
(31)...earned All-Tournament honors after averaging 16.0 points and 11.5
rebounds at the Forester Tip-Off Tournament...established career highs
for points (26) and rebounds (15) in the tournament's championship game
vs. Benedictine...scored in double figures eight times and snared 10 or
more rebounds on 10 occasions...recorded five double-doubles...missed four
games due to a mid-season broken wrist...grabbed at least 5 rebounds in
all but three of the games she appeared in....SOPHOMORE: Third on
the team with 99 rebounds (4.1 per game)...led the team in rebounding on
3 occassions and scoring twice...tied for the team lead with 14 blocks...sixth
on the team with 7.6 points per game...FRESHMAN: Played in all 22
games as a rookie...scored in double digits on three occasions...averaged
5.3 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest...12 points and 9 rebounds vs.
Gustavus Adolphus on December 28th...totaled 12 points and 5 rebounds at
Ripon on February 1st...scored 15 points and added 6 rebounds vs. Beloit
on February 11th...HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time All-Mid-Illini Conference
selection for both basketball and volleyball...named team captain and Most
Valuable Player for both sports during her senior year...also IVCHS's basketball
MVP after her junior season...Honorable Mention All-State pick for both
volleyball and basketball her senior season...also an All-Area selection
for basketball...earned a total of seven varsity letters in basketball
(2), volleyball (3) and softball (2)...basketball coach was Paul Mercer.
