In Friday's (January 26th) 82-61 victory at Carroll College, Grubbs scored a career-high 39 points, pulled down a game-high 8 rebounds and added 3 steals. She shot 10-for-12 from the field, 4-for-4 from three-point range and 15-for-18 from the free throw line. The 39 points and the 15 made free throws are season-highs for any conference player and the point total matches the fifth-highest in the nation so far this year. On Saturday (January 27th), in the Foresters' 68-59 win at St. Norbert College, Grubbs was the game's leading scorer with 22 points. She made 12 of 13 free throws, pulled down 5 rebounds and dished out 3 assists. After 16 games, Grubbs leads the 2000-01 Foresters in scoring (22.3 ppg), assists (3.8) and steals (3.2). She is shooting 44.8% from the field, 38.5% from three-point range and 82.4% from the free throw line. The Lake Forest College Athletic Department selects a Forester Athlete of the Week each Thursday.
