Devon Liebl Named MWC Performer of the Week
Junior leads Foresters in weekend sweep

Devon Liebl had 44 points and 10 steals on the weekend.

On Friday night (January 28) Liebl had a game-high 17 points, in addition to tallying five rebounds, four assists, and five steals in the 64-58 win over Beloit College. Liebl’s final steal and basket came with 15 seconds left and the game and secured the win for the Foresters.

The following day Liebl was the game’s leading scorer against Ripon College with a career-high 27 points, shooting 10-for-13 from the floor and knocking down four of six attempts beyond the arc. She also provided six rebounds, five assists, and five steals as the Foresters defeated the Red Hawks 68-64.

Liebl averaged 22 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and five steals on the weekend while shooting 68% from the field, 50% from three-point range, and 71.4% from the free-throw line.
