Alison Grubbs Named Midwest Conference Player of the Week
Senior guard scores 43 points in two home victories
  

Senior Alison Grubbs is the MWC Player of the Week for the 11th time in her career.
LAKE FOREST, IL - For the third time this season and the 11th in her career, Lake Forest College's Alison Grubbs (Cullom, IL/Tri-Point) has been named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week for the week of February 12-18th.

On Wednesday, the Foresters defeated Illinois College 82-57 and Grubbs scored a game-high 18 points. She shot 7-for-12 from the field and added 4 rebounds, 4 assists and a pair of steals.

In Saturday's 74-41 win against Knox College, the senior guard scored a game-high 25 points, including 19 before halftime. Grubbs made 5 of 7 field goal attempts, including 4 of 5 three-pointers, and shot 11-for-12 from the free throw line. She also added 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals.

Her averages for the two-game week were 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per contest. She was 12-19 from the field (.632), 5-9 from three-point range (.556) and 14-15 from the line (.933).
