Lake Forest College's women's basketball team will play at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Wednesday in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament.

The Foresters qualified for the event by winning the Midwest Conference playoffs last weekend. On Saturday, the Foresters whipped Carroll 74-61. On Friday, lowly Carroll shocked top-seeded St. Norbert 55-52 after LFC drilled Lawrence 61-48.

If LFC wins on Wednesday, it will play at Capital College in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday in the second round.

LFC will take a 21-3 record into Wednesday's game while Calvin is 21-6.

Capital University is 23-4 and the Great Lakes Regional's top team.
