Devon Liebl Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Junior wins award for second time in three weeks

Devon Liebl scored a career-high 27 points on Saturday.

Liebl scored a game-high 17 points in Lake Forest’s 64-58 victory at Beloit College. She also pulled down five rebounds, dished out four assists, and recorded five steals, including the one that sealed the victory with less than 20 seconds remaining in the contest.

Just hours after matching her career high for scoring, she shattered it with 27 points in a 68-64 triumph at Ripon College Saturday afternoon. She shot 10-for-13 from the floor in the game and knocked down four of six attempts from three-point range. She also added six rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

Liebl leads the 2004-05 Foresters in rebounds and steals and is second in points scored. She also ranks second on the team in assists, blocked shots, and three-point shooting.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
