Lake Forest College seized control of the Midwest Conference race last Friday by beating St. Norbert 75-54 and Lawrence 68-57.  

The Foresters are 6-0 in the league and 11-1 overall.  St. Norbert is 6-1 and 8-5 while Lawrence is 4-2 and 5-7.  

Tonight Lake Forest will play Knox at 7:30 p.m. as the second half of a double header.  The LFC men will play at 5:30.  

In LFC's win over Lawrence, Libertyville High graduate Katie Kerrigan scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 16 minutes of action.  

In the win over St. Norbert, superstar Alison Grubbs scored 27 points.  

The winner of the league tournament gets to compete in the NCAA Division III playoffs.  Last year, Lawrence represented the league in the tournament.
