Nicole Baich Named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week
Sophomore recorded first two double-doubles of her career

Baich has earned the MWC's weekly honor in two sports.
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Midwest Conference named Lake Forest College women’s basketball player Nicole Baich (Westchester, IL/Nazareth Academy) its Performer of the Week on Monday (January 23) for her performance in a pair of league victories on the road last week.

The Foresters posted a convincing 70-44 triumph at Illinois College Tuesday (January 17) night. Baich, a sophomore center, recorded her first career double-double with a team-high 16 points and 13 rebounds in the contest. She also added five steals.

On Saturday (January 21), Lake Forest prevailed 73-65 at Grinnell College and Baich recorded another double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. She also chipped in with two more steals.

Baich leads Lake Forest with 6.7 rebounds per game. She is also second on the squad with 25 steals so far this season and is the team’s fourth-leading scorer at 8.6 points per contest.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league’s sports information director. Baich also earned the award in volleyball on October 18.
