FORESTERS MOVING UP THE REGIONAL, NATIONAL POLLS
The Lake Forest women's basketball team continues to rack up victories,
and the pollsters around the country are starting to take notice. The Foresters,
currently 13-1 heading into Tuesday's (Jan. 24) contest at St. Norbert,
are ranked 22nd in the nation according to
Columbus
Multimedia and 29th according to Division
III Basketball Online and USA
Today/Women's Basketball Coaches Association
Also of note, the Foresters received a regional ranking of third in
the latest NCAA
Central Region poll. It is the highest such ranking Lake Forest has
ever attained in women's basketball. Lake Forest is the highest-ranking
Midwest
Conference team in all the polls mentioned.
