the Week
The senior forward led all players Tuesday with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and a career-high five assists. She shot 8-of-12 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free throw line in just 18 minutes of play. On Friday, McCants scored a season-high 19 points, including the 1,000th of her career. She was again 8-of-12 from the floor, pulled down five rebounds, and added two assists and four steals. Only four others in the history of the program have reached the 1,000-point mark in their careers. Ripon entered Saturday's game unbeaten (7-0) in MWC play but fell to McCants and the Foresters. The team captain scored 14 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds in 33 minutes of play. For the week she averaged 17.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. She connected on 20 of 34 field goal attempts (.588), two of three from beyond the arc, and nine of 11 free throws (.818). Midwest Conference Players of the Week are selected by the league's
