Alison Grubbs Named Midwest Conference Player of the Week
Senior guard scores 24 points in 28 minutes at Knox
  

Senior Alison Grubbs is the MWC Player of the Week.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College's Alison Grubbs (Cullom, IL/Tri-Point) has been named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week for the week of January 1-7.

In Lake Forest's 68-51 victory at Knox College on Saturday (January 6th) afternoon, Grubbs scored a game-high 24 points, including 4-9 shooting from behind the three-point arc, in just 28 minutes and added 5 rebounds, 4 assists and a pair of steals. It was the sixth time this season that she has led all scorers and the Foresters are 5-1 in those contests.

Entering play this week, the senior guard ranked 12th in the nation in scoring with 22.4 points per game. She was also listed among the country's elite in steals (11th - 4.1 per game), three-point field goals made (13th - 2.9 per game) as well as three-point field goal percentage (13th - 44.4%).
