Appeared in all 23 games for the Foresters...started 6 contests while
teammate Addi Murphy was recovering from a wrist injury and scored in double
figures in half of those games...led the team in rebounding on three occasions,
including 9 boards at Grinnell on February 20th...finished sixth on the
team in rebounding (3.6 per game) and minutes (17.1 per game) and seventh
in scoring (5.1 ppg)...connected on 47.6% (49/103) of her field goal attempts,
tops amongst Foresters with more than 50 attempts...missed just 7 free
throws all season on the way to shooting 73.1% (19/26) from the free throw
line...scored in double figures four times...recorded 10 points and 9 rebounds
in a 68-65 win at Monmouth on January 9th.
As a Freshman in 1997-98
Appeared in 21 contests...shot 48.1% (25/52) from the field...led the
team with 6 rebounds in her first collegiate game.
As a Prep
Two-year team captain of both the basketball and softball teams...four-year
varsity letter winner...coached by Gary Lavender...did not play her senior
season due to a knee injury...received the 1997 NBA Sportsmanship Award
by a vote of the state's coaches...a member of the top 12 athletes in the
city during her junior year...Honorable Mention All-Three Rivers League
her junior year in both basketball and softball...LOHS took 12th in the
state her freshman year and 8th her sophomore season...averaged 13 points
per game as a junior...also won four varsity letters in softball and one
in volleyball...three-year member of the Omega National Honor Society.
