Sally Bevis has a 2.19 goals against average this season.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College women’s hockey player Sally Bevis (Huntington, NY/North American Hockey Academy) was named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week Tuesday (February 15) for her performance in the Foresters’ NCHA road series over the weekend (February 11-12).

Bevis stopped 30 of 33 (.909) shots on goal in the Foresters’ 3-1 loss at UW-Eau Claire on Friday.

On Saturday, Bevis recorded 38 saves as Lake Forest skated to a scoreless tie at UW-Stevens Point, the nation’s fourth-ranked team. The Pointers had won each of their first nine league games and had not scored fewer than two goals in any contest this season.

Bevis is on pace to break the single season school record for both goals against average (2.75) and save percentage (.926). She has surrendered just 2.19 goals per 60 minutes and stopped 92.8% of shots on goal this year.

Bevis was also named NCHA Player of the Week on November 16.
