The victory was the first of her career in league play and raised her record on the year to 2-1-0 and save percentage to .911.

Senior Laura Wilson (Corunna, Ont./Sarnia Sting) led off the scoring 42 seconds into the second period. The power play goal was her third score of the year and was assisted by Bean. The Lions tied the game on a power play goal of their own at 9:51.
