Foresters Fall to Nation's Fourth-Ranked Team 3-1
Lake Forest and Stevens Point will play again tomorrow

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College women's hockey team faced off against UW-Stevens Point on Saturday (December 8th) afternoon. The nation's fourth-ranked team (US College Hockey Online) defeated the Foresters 3-1.

The Pointers scored once in the first period and twice in the second to take a commanding 3-0 lead.

Lake Forest freshman Lindsey Wild (Inver Grove Heights, MN) scored her third goal of the season with slightly more than five minutes left in the game to break up the shutout. Sophomore Lydia Groskin (Stowe, VT) recorded her third assist of the season on the team's only score of the afternoon.

The Foresters' record drops to 4-6-1 on the year while UW-Stevens Point remains perfect at 9-0-0. The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association records for the schools are 0-5-0 and 3-0-0, respectively. The same two teams will face off again tomorrow afternoon at 2:00.
