Foresters Defeated by Nation's 10th-Ranked Team
Same teams will face off again Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Lake Forest College women's hockey team fell 3-0 to visiting UW-Stevens Point on Friday (February 13). The Foresters are now 10-11-2 overall and 6-8-1 in Morthern Collegiate Hockey Association play. The Pointers, who entered the weekend ranked 10th in the nation, raised their overall record to 12-4-5 and league mark to 10-4-3.

The visitors scored first at the 12:35 mark of the opening period and doubled their lead on a five-on-three power play goal at 18:04.

Stevens Point scored the only other goal of the game at 13:23 in the second.

Forester sophomore goaltender Brittany Lemke (St. Charles, Ill./St. Mary's University) recorded 30 saves in the contest and has turned away 91.6 percent of opponents' shots on goal in three appearances for Lake Forest since joining the team for the second semester.

The same two teams will face off again tomorrow afternoon at 2:00.
