Rosy Fujimoto Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Freshman recorded a hat trick on Friday, two assists on Saturday

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College women’s hockey player Rosy Fujimoto (Wasilla, Alaska/Team Alaska) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (January 28) for her performance in a pair of victories at Marian University the previous weekend (January 22-23).

Fujimoto, a freshman forward, entered the weekend with three goals and a pair of assists on the season. She matched those totals on the weekend, scoring three times for her first career hat trick in Friday night’s 6-0 triumph and setting up a pair of scores in a 3-0 win on Saturday.

Fujimoto is now tied for fourth on the team with six goals and tied for sixth with 10 points on the season.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
