Lake Forest Settles for Weekend Split of NCHA Road Games
Foresters fall at UW-Superior

SUPERIOR, Wis. - A day after posting a 4-1 victory at Finlandia University, the Forester women's hockey team was defeated 6-0 at the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday (January 31). Lake Forest fell to 9-9-1 overall and 5-6-1 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play. The Yellowjackets raised their overall record to 11-6-2 and league mark to 7-3-2.

After a scoreless opening period, Superior struck first at the 2:35 mark of the second. The home team added goals at 5:28 and 14:09 and led 3-0 at the second intermission.

The Yellowjackets Converted a power play opportunity at 5:28 in the third period and tacked on goals at 9:16 and 17:00 to close out the scoring.

The Foresters will also play on the road next weekend (February 6-7) at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The teams will face off at 7:00 both Friday and Saturday night.
