Lake Forest Finds Going Rough "Out East"
Foresters fall to three top-10 teams

PLATTSBURGH, NY - The Lake Forest women's hockey team suffered three losses in games against teams ranked among the top 10 in the nation. The Foresters were defeated 2-0 on Tuesday (January 6) at #6 Middlebury College, 7-0 on Wednesday (January 7) at #10 Williams College, and 9-1 on Friday (January 9) at #2 Plattsburgh State University. Lake Forest fell to 2-12-1 on the season.

Freshman goaltender Sally Bevis (Richmond, VT/North American Hockey Adademy) had her best game of the week at Middlebury on Tuesday when she stopped 39 of 41 shots on goal.

The Foresters' lone goal on Friday was the first career score for freshman Katie Snowden (Toronto, ON/Willowdale). She was assisted by sophomore Nadia Sarkarat (Waukesha, WI/Wisconsin Wild).

Lake Forest will be back in action next weekend (January 16-17) when it hosts UW-Eau Claire. Friday's game will begin at 4:00 p.m. and the teams will face off again at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
