LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest women's hockey player Robyn Slater (Granite City, IL) has been named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week for her performance in the Foresters' victories at home against Hamline University over the weekend.

In Friday's (November 9th) 4-1 victory, Slater recorded the program's first-ever hat trick. After scoring the game's first two goals, her third was the game's final score and came midway through the third period.

On Saturday (November 10th), Slater scored three times in the second period alone to give Lake Forest a 3-1 lead. After Hamline scored twice in the third period to tie the game and send it into overtime, Slater ended it 3:43 into the extra frame with her fourth goal of the game and seventh of the weekend.

Slater leads the team with nine goals on the season and has scored at least once in each of the Foresters' four games. Lake Forest's record is 4-0-0.
