Sally Bevis Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Goalie earns first career shutout

  

Sally Bevis is 2-0-2 with a 1.92 goals against average this year.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College women’s hockey player Sally Bevis (Huntington, NY/North American Hockey Academy) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (November 18) for her performance in the team’s 3-0 and 2-1 victories over St. Mary’s University at home last weekend (November 12-13).

Bevis, the Foresters’ sophomore goaltender, recorded 24 saves in each game and recorded her first career shutout on Friday. She posted a .980 save percentage during the weekend to raise her mark on the year to .922. She is 2-0-2 this year with a goals against average of 1.92.

Bevis was also named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week on Tuesday (November 16).

Forester Athletes of the Week are chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
