Courtney DeHoey
LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College women’s hockey player Courtney DeHoey (Chatham, Ont./Bluewater Jr. Hawks) was named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week on Monday (November 19) for her performance in three league games in the previous six days.

DeHoey, a senior forward, started the week with two goals and an assist in Lake Forest’s 7-3 victory at Concordia University Wisconsin Tuesday (November 20) night. It was her sixth career game with at least three points.

Over the weekend (November 17-18), the Foresters split a series at home against UW-River Falls. DeHoey recorded a pair of assists in Lake Forest’s 4-3 triumph on Saturday to become the program’s all-time leader with 79 career points.

DeHoey leads the Foresters with six points on three goals and as many assists so far this season. She is just seven goals and one assist shy of matching the team’s career records in those categories as well.

NCHA Players of the Week are selected by the league’s sports information director. DeHoey also earned the award twice in each of the last two seasons.
