LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College hockey player Theresa Taylor (Spartanburg, SC/National Sports Academy) was named NCHA Player of the Week and Forester Athlete of the Week for leading her team to two big wins over UW-Superior November 15 & 16. The weekend sweep was the second ever in the program's three years of Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play.

Taylor allowed just one goal in each game. She stopped 29 shots in the Foresters' 3-1 win and another 31 in Saturday's 4-1 victory. Lake Forest is off to its best start in school history (5-0-0), due in part to Taylor's .926 saves percentage on the season.

The NCHA Sports Information Director selects the Player of the Week each Monday and the Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
