Foresters Fall Twice at UW-River Falls
Team will host Concordia College next weekend

RIVER FALLS, WI - The Lake Forest College women's hockey team suffered a pair of Northern Collegiate Hockey Association losses at UW-River Falls over the weekend (November 21-22). The Falcons defeated the Foresters 5-1 Friday night and 9-0 Saturday afternoon. Lake Forest is now 1-6-1 overall and 0-4-0 in the NCHA while River Falls raised its overall record to 5-4-0 and its league mark to 2-2-0.

The home team scored three times in the first period of Friday's game and netted two more goals early in the second. Lake Forest's lone goal of the game came at the 10:48 mark of the second period off the stick of sophomore forward Erin McGrath (Chippawa, ON/Niagara Rapids). Sophomore forward Mel Guillermo (North Las Vegas, NV/Culver Academy) and junior forward Nichole Greco (Franklin Park, IL/Chicago Young Americans) were each credited with an assist.

River Falls scored one goal in the first period, five in the second, and three in the third on Saturday.

The Foresters will be back on their home ice next weekend (November 29-30) when they host Concordia College (Moorhead, MN). Play will begin at 2:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
