Lil Caligiuri Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Senior set school records for assists in a game and career
  

Lil Caligiuri is the program's career leader in assists.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College women’s hockey player Lil Caligiuri (Wheaton, IL/Culver Academy) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (November 24) for her contributions to a pair of Lake Forest victories in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play the previous weekend (November 18-19).

Caligiuri, a senior forward, assisted on the second Forester goal in their 3-2 victory over Finlandia University Friday night.

On Saturday, she established a new school record with four assists in Lake Forest’s 8-0 triumph over Finlandia. She also moved into first place in team history with 35 assists in her career and into second place with 52 points.

Caligiuri leads the Foresters with 11 assists this season and is third on the team with a dozen points.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by members of the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
