Slater Records Program's First-Ever Hat Trick in 4-1 Win Over Hamline
Junior captain has five goals in three games this season

Robyn Slater and the Forester women's hockey program now have one career hat trick.
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College women's hockey team won its home opener against Hamline University on Friday (November 9th) by a score of 4-1. The Foresters are now 3-0-0 in their second season as a varsity program.

Junior forward Robyn Slater (Granite City, IL) provided most of the home team's scoring with three goals. Slater's hat trick is the first in the program's short history. She has scored in each of the team's three games this season and has a total of five goals, including two game-winners.

Freshman forwards Nichole Greco (Franklin Park, IL) and Michelle Pickles (Crown Point, IN) assisted on Slater's first goal and freshman forward Lindsey Wild (Inver Grove Heights, MN) set up her third score.

While Slater scored the team's first, second and fourth goals of the game, sophomore forward Lydia Groskin (Stowe, VT) put in the third Forester score.

Hamline and Lake Forest will play again tomorrow (November 10th) afternoon at 2:00 pm.
