The Forester Women's Hockey Program
Head Coach Carisa Zaban has a vision for what it will take for the Foresters to be successful heading into their eighth season as a varsity program. "To be the best, you have to work for it, both in the classroom and on the ice. Not only do we want competitive students, but also competitive athletes who are team-oriented and strive to reach their potential."

Lake Forest College Athletics
Athletics at Lake Forest College has long been recognized for its "Tradition of Excellence," which continues both in the classroom and in athletic competition. In 2006-07, this excellence was manifested by a remarkable:

  • 14 of 17 varsity sports qualified for their conference or national tournaments
  • .528 combined winning percentage amongst all varsity sports and .623 mark in conference play
  • 11 teams finished among the top four in their respective conference or association and three (softball, women’s basketball, and women’s swimming & diving) placed among the NCAA Division III leaders
  • With conference championships in softball and women’s basketball, Lake Forest has claimed at least one league title in 22 consecutive academic years
  • 45 different Foresters were named All-Conference, including four Conference Performers of the Year, four were selected to All-Region teams, and eight earned All-American honors
  • 64 student-athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors and one received Academic All-American accolades
  • Conference Coach of the Year awards in softball, women’s cross country, and men’s and women’s basketball give the department 18 this decade
  • More than 40 school records were broken or tied
