FORESTERS HONORED AT FALL SPORTS BANQUET

At the Lake Forest College Fall Sports Banquet, Stacy Gunstream (Fort Collins, CO/Rocky Mountain H.S.) and Frances Hensely (Belleville, IL/Belleville West) collected the Most Valuable and Most Improved Players, respectively, for the Forester women's soccer program.
Gunstream was one of five Foresters to start all 16 games and helped to solidify the Lake Forest defense after a mid-season switch from forward to sweeper.
Head Coach T.R. Bell also handed out Academic All-Conference awards to Sarah Klerk (Augusta, MI/Gull Lake H.S.), Beth Kohr (Franklin, OH/Franklin H.S.), and Nicole Walter (Glenview, IL/Glenbrook South H.S.), MWC Player of the Week awards to Rachel LaFin (Glen Ellyn, IL/Glenbard West H.S.), and Forester Athlete of the Week awards to LaFin (Oct. 14). LaFin was also a First Team All-Conference selection at goalkeeper.
The Foresters finished the 1999 season with a 5-10-1 overall record and a fifth place finish in the MWC with a 5-4-0 record.
