The game was scoreless until early in the second half. The visitors scored the contest’s first goal at 48:29 and added another at 61:05. Forester goalkeeper Krystine Operzedek (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield), a junior, came out of the game after the second goal. She had 10 saves in the contest, including a few stops of shots from point-blank range in the first period. Operzedek is now 3-3-2 on the season with a 1.50 goals against average. Chicago scored its third goal at 79:25 and its fourth and final tally with just 22 second remaining in the contest. Lake Forest will play a pair of Midwest Conference road games this weekend (October 15-16). The team will travel to Illinois College on Saturday afternoon for a 1:00 game and to Monmouth College for an 11:00 a.m. match on Sunday. Box Score
