BELOIT, Wis. - The Lake Forest College women’s soccer team came out on top of a pair of 1-0 decisions over the weekend (October 13-14). The Foresters defeated two-time defending Midwest Conference champion Grinnell College on Saturday and won at Beloit on Sunday to raise their overall record on the year to 8-5-1 and their conference mark to 5-1-0. Grinnell fell to 7-6-0 overall and 5-2-0 in league play and Beloit’s record dropped to 4-8-1 overall and 3-3-0 in the MWC.

She finished Saturday’s contest with four saves and added five more on Sunday at Beloit. She has now blanked each of the Foresters’ last three opponents and has six shutouts and a 1.15 goals against average on the season.
