Lake Forest Plays to Scoreless Tie at Dominican University

RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Forester women's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie with host Dominican University on Tuesday (October 14). Lake Forest is now 5-6-0 on the season and the Stars are 9-5-1.

The Foresters actually did kick the ball over the Dominican goalkeeper and into the net but regulation had expired as the ball was headed toward the goal.

Lake Forest senior goalkeeper Susan Hedrick (Geneva, Ill./Geneva) had five saves in the contest and recorded her first career shutout.

The Foresters will host non-conference games against Concordia University Wisconsin Thursday (October 16) at 4:00 p.m. and Carthage College Sunday (October 19) at noon. The team will resume Midwest Conference play at Grinnell College on Saturday, October 25.
