Foresters Fall at Home to Concordia University Wisconsin
Team will host Carthage College on Sunday

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Lake Forest College women's soccer team was defeated 2-0 by visiting Concordia University Wisconsin on Thursday (October 16). The Foresters fell to 5-7-1 on the season while the Falcons raised their record to 8-5-0.

The visitors got on the scoreboard 10 minutes into the contest and added a second goal with two-and-a-half minutes to play in the first half.

Neither team was able to score in the second 45 minutes.

Concordia Wisconsin attempted 16 shots in the game, three more than the Foresters. Lake Forest held a 6-4 edge in shots on goal.

The Foresters will host their final non-conference games of the season on Sunday (October 19) when they take on Carthage College at noon. The team will resume Midwest Conference play at Grinnell College next Saturday (October 25) and will host Beloit College at 1:00 the following afternoon.
