Fink's Hat Trick Leads Foresters to Victory Over Concordia
Tate adds two assists

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College women's soccer team successfully scratched another revenge game off their list on Tuesday (October 17th) as they outscored Concordia University (WI) 4-1 at home. The Foresters is now 4-2-1 in 2000 against teams that defeated them in 1999.

It did not look too good early on for the home team as Concordia scored the game's first goal after only two-and-a-half minutes. The Foresters quickly tied the game at one when senior Kim Sponsel (San Diego, CA/Mira Mesa) scored her fifth goal of the season just two minutes later on an assist from fellow senior Erin Sovick (Fort Collins, CO/Poudre). Freshman Stephanie Fink (Menasha, WI/St. Mary Central) was the star of the show as she scored her first three goals of her career. Sophomore Dana Tate (Appleton, WI/Appleton East) recorded her third and fourth assists of the year and junior Stacy Gunstream (Fort Collins, CO/Rocky Mountain) earned her team-leading eighth.
