Coutts Named MWC Offensive Player of the Week
A Forester earns honor for 2nd straight week

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Midwest Conference has named junior forward Sandi Coutts (Round Lake, IL/College of Lake County) MWC Offensive Player of the Week for the week of October 9-15.

The honor is especially impressive because Coutts began the week unable to even play because of injury. She was used somewhat sparingly in the Foresters' two home wins over the weekend, but she did make the most of her time on the field. In Lake Forest's 5-0 win over Monmouth on Saturday, Coutts scored twice, including a laser-like shot she placed in the upper-right corner of the goal to cap off the scoring with 12 minutes to play. In the Foresters' 4-0 win over Illinois College on Sunday, Coutts again found the back of the net for the final goal of the game, this time late in the first half.

The junior college transfer student now has nine goals on the season and eight in Midwest
