Lake Forest Falls at Carroll under the Lights
Foresters complete MWC schedule with 5-2-2 record

WAUKESHA, WI - The Forester women’s soccer team dropped a 6-0 decision at Carroll College Wednesday (October 19) night. Lake Forest fell to 8-5-2 overall this season and 5-2-2 in Midwest Conference play. The Lady Pioneers raised their record to 11-3-0 overall and a perfect 7-0-0 in the league.

The home team scored their first goal just two minutes into the contest and added first period scores at 32:02 and 37:00. Carroll’s three second-half goals were each scored during a 10-minute span midway through the period.

Junior Kristyne Operzedek (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield) recorded five saves in the first 45 minutes and freshman Alison Lynch (Dunlap, IL/Peoria Notre Dame) stopped a career-high nine shots on goal during the second.

Lake Forest will close out its regular season at home this Sunday (October 23). The Foresters will host UW-Whitewater at 3:00 p.m.
