October 23, 2005 Contact: Mike Wajerski , SID Lake Forest Loses to UW-Whitewater 4-1 LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College women’s soccer team suffered a Despite heavy rain and hail, Lake Forest managed to hold the visitors to one goal in the first period, but UW-Whitewater opened the second period with goals in the 53rd and 57th minutes to post a 3-0 advantage. In the 71st minute, freshman midfielder Jaymie Honold (Kapolei, HI/Kapolei) put the home team on the scoreboard with her fifth goal of the season. However, UW-Whitewater answered twelve minutes later with its fourth and final goal. Lake Forest will enter the Midwest Conference Tournament as the fourth seed and battle top-seeded Grinnell College on Saturday (October 29) at 2 p.m. in Grinnell, Iowa. The winner of that game will play the winner of tournament’s opening game between number two Carroll College and the third-seeded Monmouth College.
