Aviva Landin was named Forester Athlete of the Week.

LAKE FOREST, IL - Forester women's player Aviva Landin (Evanston, IL/Evanston Township), was named Forester Athlete of the Week for her contributions to the team's shutout victories over Lawrence University and Ripon College this past weekend (October 20-21st).

In Saturday's 1-0 win at home over Lawrence University, who was undefeated in conference play, Landin scored the game's only goal in the game's 76th minute. It was only the third goal allowed by Lawrence in nine Midwest Conference games this year.

In Sunday's 4-0 MWC Championship-clinching triumph at Ripon College, Landin scored the game's first goal in the first minute of the match. The score was her 11th of the season and she has scored at least one goal in each of the last seven games.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
