Lake Forest Falls at Nation’s 14th-Ranked Team
Foresters and Chicago were tied 0-0 at halftime

Chicago, Ill. – The Forester women’s soccer team fell 2-0 at the University of Chicago, the nation’s 14th-ranked team, Tuesday (October 3) afternoon. Lake Forest is now 5-4-0 on the season while the Maroons raised their record to 8-1-1.

After a scoreless first half, the home team finally broke through for a goal at the 55:42 mark and then added another just two minutes later.

Lake Forest senior goalkeeper Kristyne Operzedek (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) matched her season-high with 10 saves in the contest.

The Foresters will not play this weekend and will return to the field next Wednesday (October 11) night at North Park University. The game will begin at 7:00.
