Lake Forest Surrenders a Goal in Each Half to Carroll
Susan Hedrick records five saves in collegiate debut

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Forester women's soccer team fell 2-0 to visiting Carroll University on Friday (October 3). Lake Forest is now 5-5-0 overall and 3-2-0 in Midwest Conference play this season. The Lady Pioneers raised their overall record to 5-4-0 with victories in both of their league contests.

Carroll got on the scoreboard 20 minutes into the contest with what turned out to be the game-winnning goal. The Pioneers added a tally with 19:24 to play in the game.

Forester senior goalkeeper Susan Hedrick (Geneva, Ill./Geneva) made five saves in her collegiate debut.

Lake Forest's next three games will be against non-conference opponents. The Foresters will play at the University of Chicago Wednesday (Oct. 8) at 4:00 p.m. and at Dominican University at the same time the following Tuesday (October 14). Lake Forest's next home game will be on Thursday, October 16, at 4:00 p.m. against Concordia University Wisconsin.
